On 23 June we set off through the Amsterdam canals with some very special guests. Together with Fabian van de Walle of wine importer Walraven Sax and Cédric Jung of Burgundy wine house Joseph Drouhin, we hosted a wine tasting aboard our salon boat De Muze. As we drifted beneath the old bridges, Burgundy was on the table.

From Chablis to Beaune

Cédric guided us through four wines from Joseph Drouhin, a family house that has been making wine in Beaune since 1880. We started fresh with the Chablis 2024 from their own Drouhin-Vaudon estate. Next came the Mâcon-Villages 2023 and the Pouilly-Fuissé 2023, two white wines from southern Burgundy. We finished with the highlight of the afternoon, the red Beaune Premier Cru Cras 2019.

Burgundy on the water

Tasting wine on a classic salon boat is something special. The pace is slow, the view changes at every turn and there is all the time in the world to talk about what’s in your glass. That is where the story behind each bottle truly comes to life.

Exceptional wines on board and in the wine cellar

On board, we love to pour great wines. Our extensive wine list features classics from renowned wine houses. Looking for something truly exceptional? Then choose from our cellar list. We bring those bottles on board especially for you, straight from our own wine cellar. Our skippers are happy to help you find the perfect wine to go with your dinner.
